Happy 2022, everyone!

I first started writing more consistently on Medium in August 2020. My first few months of writing on Medium was passionate and frantic simultaneously. I was excited to share more, learn more from others, but got frazzled out spending too much time and energy engaging with other writers and promoting my articles.

My mom got hit by a car during Christmas last year. Thankfully, she’s recovered fully by now. But for the first few months of 2021, I had to spend some time looking after her. I just didn’t feel like writing and engaging with others as much.

Looking back at my top 10 stories (based on the total number of views), I’m glad that my niche topic on Human Design scored a lot of external views because of my stories’ high Google search ranking. It’s such a relief that I didn’t spend much time promoting these stories at all. Though I didn’t earn much from these Human Design articles, it helped me establish my expertise and I earned a lot more through getting more paid bookings for private Human Design chart readings.

In terms of reader engagement, I’m most proud of getting occasional lovely comments from other highly sensitive people through my story published in The Ascent…
