It is self-regulating

Gentleness, to me, is like breathing. It is self-regulating. We are always regulating our level of gentleness to suit our present circumstances. Because the word Gentleness is so tangible, we can sense it and regulate it physically using our seven senses, internally within our bodies, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and even energetically.

Gentleness is Subjective and Self-Regulating

Gentleness is very subjective. What feels gentle for you might feel too harsh for me, or the reverse might be true. It’s not just a mental construct. When we become more aware of what’s uniquely gentle and harsh to us, it becomes much easier for us to make adjustments so we can feel safer and freer to shine our unique light.

How safe do you feel physically in your body?
That determines how gentle you are with your body.

How safe do you feel with a loved one who lives with you?
That might be different at various times, even throughout a single day, and this determines how gentle you might be with him/her.

How safe do you feel voicing your thoughts on social media?
This determines whether you might choose to hide, try your best to push your message across, or share…
