I love your heartfelt sharing, Shailaja. You paint the picture for both mother and daughter so vividly. It’s tough that even though you’ve already put in so much effort in bonding with your daughter in the early years, both of you are still evolving and thus there’s still a constant need to realign with each other. And I'm so glad that you were able to pause, reflect, and keep making little improvements in the way you communicate and show care for her.
