Interesting reflections, Paul! This reminds me of the Korean sci-fi movie Wonderland. The movie explores several scenarios of duplicating a a person's memories and consciousness so they can continue to live in their chosen fantasy life while staying connected to their loved ones. One of them was in a coma, while the others have passed away.
Perhaps it's more vital to trust in this oneness, and use it to raise our collective consciousness.
