What Has ‘42’ Got To Do With Life Coaching?

Questions VS answers to life, the Universe, and Everything.

This scene from the Hitchhiker’s Guide to The Galaxy popped into my mind right in the middle of an online group MAP session facilitated by my Coach, Sofie Hon. We were releasing our resistance to marketing our Coaching businesses.

A life problem is not a math problem

I love Douglas Adam’s wit and sense of humor! In his book, an advanced alien race created a supercomputer, Deep Thought, to find the ultimate answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything. It took 7.5 million years to arrive at the answer: 42.

This answer, understandably, didn’t make sense to them, so they eventually decided to create Earth, our planet, as a new experiment to figure out what the Ultimate Question to Life, the Universe, and Everything is.

Isn’t that hilarious? And so deeply wise?
